Healthy Ginger Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions:
Peel the ripe banana and place it in a blender
Add the unsweetened almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey, grated fresh ginger, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the blender
If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can also add a handful of ice cubes
Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy
You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well mixed
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or spice level to your preference by adding more honey or ginger if needed
Once the smoothie reaches your desired consistency and flavor, pour it into a smoothie glass
Garnish with a slice of banana or a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired
