Healthy Ginger Banana Smoothie

This Healthy Ginger Banana Smoothie tastes great and is good for you. You can drink it to start the day or after a workout to fuel up. When you mix ripe banana, fresh ginger, and fragrant spices, you get a tasty, energizing drink that is also full of vitamins and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Peel the ripe banana and place it in a blender

Add the unsweetened almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey, grated fresh ginger, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the blender

If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can also add a handful of ice cubes

Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy

You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well mixed

Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or spice level to your preference by adding more honey or ginger if needed

Once the smoothie reaches your desired consistency and flavor, pour it into a smoothie glass
