Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk

Dont mix any further than that

Put an equal amount of cupcake batter into each of the two bowls

Put the gray food coloring gel in a bowl and mix it until it turns the color you want

Spoon scoops of gray and pink batter into each cupcake liner one after the other until they are about two thirds full

After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

After taking the cupcakes out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a few minutes

Then, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling

Get the frosting ready while the cupcakes cool

Put the softened butter in a bowl and beat it until its smooth

Add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract one cup at a time and mix until the mixture is smooth and fluffy

If you need to, add more milk to change the consistency

Take the frosting and put it in two different bowls

Put grey food coloring gel in one bowl and mix it until it turns the color you want

Add pink food coloring gel to the other bowl and mix until the color you want is reached

After the cupcakes are completely cool, pipe or spread swirls of gray and pink frosting on top of each one

If you want to add a little sparkle, you can sprinkle edible silver glitter on top

Have fun with your little pink and gray treats
